In a few years, Carlos Palacios invited his father and brother to join the company as a partner to provide other services like Civil Works and Mechanical Installations for the growing opportunities. The automation process required to get a deeper understanding of the different process to the different grain and feed industries like grain facilities, grain dryers, feed mills, wheat and corn mills, rice mills and others, and for that, Carlos Palacios could reach a deep knowledge for those different process and find a new opportunity to the company, this opportunity was to be a dealer of different and recognized international brands to provide a complete solution in the Venezuela Market. Was in 2003, that PALCON INGENIERIA get a dealership license of CHIEF INDUSTRIES, MEGA GRAIN DRYERS and VAN AARSEN and reach to close a lot of important sales in Venezuela territory: SOUTO, ANCA, ASOPORTUGUESA, EMPRESAS POLAR, AGROBUEYCA, PROSEMI, GRANCA and others were some references. In 2008, the government problems and the currency control by government start to affect the good results of PALCON INGENIERIA and for this reason, the Palacios Family started to look for new horizons to copy this business model.
Was in 2013, when PALCON INGENIERIA start operation in Peru, opening a new company PALCON PERU SAC and immediately win a big project to upgrade of the grain port of Callao, the scope of this project was to replace the old conveyors to new conveyors with capacity of 1,800 t/h. This project was developed as a Turnkey project and toke 2 years to finish it.
In this same period AGRI TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS was founded in United State, the Family Palacios, and mainly, Carlos Palacios always thought to give this type of solution in all Latin American Countries. In 2013, AGRI TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS started with a new project in Costa Rica, the final customer was MOLINOS DE COSTA RICA, in this project, AGRI TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS sold the total equipment and provide the automation system and electrical panels designed and manufactured by himself. AGRI TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, provide a total automation system and electrical panels to the Callao Grain Port as well.
For both projects, AGRI TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS and PALCON PERU worked with Ag Growth International (AGI) as a dealer, the reason of choose this brand is because CHIEF INDUSTRIES and VAN AARSEN do not accompany to the Palacios Family because they have a dealer in those countries. In this year AGI do not was a recognized brand as currently. In this period, Carlos Palacios musted move to EE. UU to design and supervise the manufacturing of the electrical panels and the automation designs for both projects. The Palacios Family were owners of four companies: PALCON INGENIERIA in Venezuela, PALCON CONTROLS in Venezuela, PALCON PERU in Peru and AGRI TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS in EE.UU. In 2015, the Venezuelan crisis push to the Palacios Family to close the Venezuelan Company PALCON INGENIERIA and PALCON CONTROLS, but AGRI TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS keep with the office and the human resource to expand his activity in Latin American Countries. AGRI TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS begin to participate to different project in all Latin American Countries, but AGI decided to do not accompany to AGRI TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS for the same reason of CHIEF and VAN AARSEN. To keep the dealership of AGI to PALCON PERU, The Palacios Family decided to divide their companies: AGRI TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS start to be handled by Carlos Palacios and PALCON PERU start to be handled by his brother Hector Palacios. AGRI TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS start to look and explore actively new brands, new technologies and build a solid alliance with recognized brands with few or any participation of the Latin American Market. Those all-new brands still work hard with AGRI TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, and the results can be traduced in references in all Latin American Countries and more like: MEXICO, PANAMA, COSTA RICA, HONDURAS, GUATEMALA, VENEZUELA, PERU, ECUADOR, BOLIVIA, PARAGUAY, UNITED STATES, CANADA, ARGENTINA and other…Our history begins since 2000, where born in Venezuela an Engineering Company for the Agri Industries: PALCON INGENIERIA CA, offering electrical installations and Automation Services.
